DH & I are very excited for Thanksgiving this year. It will be the first year that SD15 has been with us on Thanksgiving day. We just wish that SD11 could be with us too. But we are going to have a blast. SD15 & BS11 last day of school for Thanksgiving break was Tuesday. So tomorrow the kids & I are going to make 2 pumpkin pies and maybe some cookies (since I don't like pumpkin pie, lol). Then we'll get the turkey out to thaw and I'll have SD15 help me on Thursday to make the meal. That way she can learn how to for when she has her own family. And I'll probably have BS11 help a little with it to. Because our kids love helping DH & I cook.

Now I am also very nervous too. Because tomorrow I have to take SD15 to the OB/GYN for the first time. And no, not because she is pregnant. lol But because she said that she gets a lot of yeast infections and this is the first time it's been brought to our attention and she doesn't do anything to treat them. Plus SD15 feels that maybe the cause of them is from the abuse from her step-dad. Which DH & I are not to sure if what she is experiencing is yeast infections. Because we have never been told about them before and she has never been to a doctor about them to say that is what it is. BM tried to take SD15 to the OB/GYN before, but SD15 refused because she was afraid that the doctor would have been able to tell she was being sexually abused. Though I don't know why she thought that, when they never had intercourse. I was all touching and oral. So, I am very nervous and so is she. But from what I have read and been told, they won't use the speculum on her because of her being a virgin. I am hoping that is true. Before they start the exam, we are going to talk with the doctor about it. That is the part that SD15 is worried about the most.
