I am sorry but I know many of you live with entitled kids. Lemme tell you, it's not just kids. Holy Cow!

I work at a convenience store. A very busy one at that. We also have car washes of them, two are automatic. HUGE money makers, BTW.

I live in the northern part of IL. It was a beautiful day today so the car washes were very busy. Most people reported that they were in line for 30 to 45 minutes before they got in. SO

I had a lady come into the store and inform me that she had waited 24 minutes in line and STILL had not gotten her turn. AND she demanded that I compensate her for her time spent in that line. AND wanted a free car wash too. Folks! She. Was. Next. In. Line. and got out of the line to tell on the other cars for being in front of her. She demanded I give her my managers name. SO I took a piece of register tape and wrote the name. Nothing else. I also gave her the phone number after I asked her if she wanted it. I told on myself and manager told me the same thing I told the lady.

It's the holiday's. It brings out the worst in people I swear. I smile and compliment alllllllll day long. I am very good at my job.

Christmas Eve my first customer told me I was a bitch. He gave me a slip for his lottery numbers and I ran it but one of the boards was missing a number. I told him as such. He kept telling me to "push the fucking button". I was seriously trying to help the guy and tried to explain to him what I needed from him. He cut me off and said "You are a bitch!" I told him we were done doing business with him and he was free to leave. I also wish him Merry Christmas with as much sincerity as I could muster.

Call me the lottery nazi AND now as of today the Car Wash nazi.
