BM asking us what christmas present we got the girls

BMnotallowed's picture

I smell something fishy in the air and not just because BM's legs are open. BM left DH a text message asking what we go the girls for christmas. DH sent a message back asking why. She just wants to make sure they don't get the same things. DH told her he is 100 percent sure that they won't and they haven't before so why the big deal now. She calls telling him to tell her the exact presents he got. He told her some cutesy crafting kits and dolls and such. BM is screaming and cursing. DH looks at me puzzled I just shrug. He ends that conversation. That was odd.

pawning it? why, that would never happen!!
*snort*

dumbass has pawned skids stuff before. she even pawned a game system that she repeatedly lied to the kids about several times. she was able to get it back (with cords all neatly ziptied) when dh brought the hammer down. but there's no telling what else has gone missing.

thankfully one-upping on christmas presents has never been an issue with us. hell she didnt even buy mss a birtday present- two years in a row...

ah yes the grandiose promises...

i hurt for the skids who still hope it's true. most figure it out eventually (all three of ours have said at one time or another "she's a liar.") but even if they know the truth most still hold out hope that just for once bm wont disappoint, cuz she's their mother and they love her just for that. it takes years and years for them to give up that hope. but until then, it just sucks all the way around.

ours are still holding onto a thin thread of hope. Sad sounds like yours are too.

*sigh*

HA! The first Christmas I spent with Mr. Guilty Daddy, the BM's mom actually called daddykins and asked HIM (read: me) for MONEY to buy daddykins a gift "from the skids!!"

And he got mad with me for suggesting that was the ultimate tacky thing to do considering he already was giving ALL his pay directly to the BM out of sheer guilt (no CO at that point and he was CONVINCED by the BM that he owed his ENTIRE SALARY to her for the REST OF HIS LIFE!)

A few years later, the BM totally ruined Xmas when Mr. GD disclosed to her that we (read: me) were buying the skids an ATV. She ruined the surprise and thusly the "angels" came trampling in screaming "WHERE IS IT??!!"

They totally abused the ATV, went where they weren't supposed to go (on other people's property) and got stuck several times in the mud. The budding felon SD, 9 at the time, said "the ATV went into the mud and on other people's property by itself--I didn't do it"

Then the year the skids colluded with the BM to call CPS on us because we had them do 20 minutes of light yard work alongside of us, we sold the ATV (I took a HUGE bath on this) because of their failure to obey the ground rules for use of the ATV AND for colluding with the BM and telling lies to CPS to "make mommy happy,"

That Christmas, we bought them high end christmas gifts (why I DON'T know--oh wait I DO know--Mr. GD's massive GUILT COMPLEX of not living under the same roof 24/7 as the angels) and the BM had them call Mr. GD up about 90 seconds after we had dropped the gifts off and tell daddykins they HATED their gifts.

You could almost hear the BM snickering on speakerphone behind the scenes. Of course, the spineless Mr. GD APOLOGIZED to the "angels" for RUINING CHRISTMAS--this was AFTER the BM had placed Mr. GD on the NYS Child Abuse and Maltreatment register with no notification (clerical error doncha know--did I mention yet that the BM WORKS for CPS?)

We got kids Tablets for Christmas this year, (For our house only) This weekend SS kept telling him he wanted a smart phone ( he is 6 btw) DH made the comment to me " here hand me the phone i should call BM and tell her what we got them so she doesn't get them the same".. :? Me: :" Do you honestly think BM is going to get them a tablet or smart phone since she can't even pay to have her phone turned on???" DH: "well that is true. i guess didn't think about that" Besides Even if she did have the money to get them anything like that good for her. the stuff we got them is staying at our house so it doesn't matter if she gets them the same thing...... UGH
