General Question about Step Grandparents

My SD has a 1 and 1/2 year old daughter - not really talking much but just curious - for those of you that have step grandkids what do they call you?

There already is a grandma - SD's mother - and even though I hate her guts she really is the grandmother.

Anyone have a view on this?

FYI - I get along great with my SD so no issues there.

When DH's gkid was born, SD28 would refer to me as Grandma Twopines, so I assume that is what DH's gkid would call me if she saw me.

My mother's sgkid calls her Nana.

Our kids are too young to have children..BUT..SD11 calls MY mom Nana, since my mom is SD's step-gma? lol SD already has a few other grandmas. Smile But, I think if/when SD does have children, they'll just call me LaMare, I'm sure.

My SSons call my mom grandma. I call my SM's mother grandmaFirstName. Yes, I already have two grandmother(my mom's mom and my dad's mom) but my SM has been in my life since I was 8, her mother is around frequently too so I do consider her a grandmother figure. Plus, my other two grandmas don't mind at all-especially since when I was younger my SM's mom spoiled me just as much as she did my brothers(my dad and SM's kids) and her other grandkids.

My grand daughter named me... Grandma Mum ... because my daughter calls me Mum so I am Grandma Mum. Everyone else is Grandma *first name*. It just makes me special--er. Smile Smile
