Hello!

I'm Kate! I guess that is sort of a "duh" statement as my username says it.

I was led to this site from a friend who wishes to remain anonymous and the only stepmom my own age I know. I made friends with a guy with kids. At this point, I think we'll remain friends. He has a wacko-ex-wife and I'm just not up for that right now.

I finally came out of the lurker-doom to ask a question from the other side...(insert Twilight Zone music). I asked a question as a BM rather than as a SM(to-be-or-not-to-be!!!).

My relationship is going turtle slow and I think I'm going to keep it that way for awhile. Some of you all live scary lives!!!!! But, my Ex-H's relationship is going much faster. I want to help the kids and them make this a positive experience for everyone. No crazy BM over here.
