Hi everyone, I am new here and this is my first go at posting on here. Sorry if this post gets lengthy, but I am at my last straw here. I don’t know what to do.
So here goes. Does anyone else have a BM who only wants her kids ONLY when she has a man in her life? Our BM has been divorced 3 times and is working on marriage number 4. Every time she breaks a relationship wih a guy she always makes sure she has another man waiting for her. All of her marriages have ended because of her cheating with the next husband. (including mine)
I have been married to my husband for almost 12 years. he has 3 girls with BM. They were 4,6,and 8 when we were married. I also have 2 children by my 1st marriage.
Now don't get me wrong. She hasnt been a very good mother to begin with. But at least when she is with a man she at least wants to see her girls …But when she is single they never see or hear from her. When she gets a new guy that’s when she comes back around and includes her newest guy and act like one big happy family. She has always put her men before her children. For example. When she was married to her 3 rd husband, the two oldest SDs (13 and 15 at time) told her that SF was touching them, and making sexual comments to them. BM gets mad at SDs and throws her out of the house. Calls them little bitchs and never wants to see them again. That was when the SDs came to live with us. This is along story in itself. the allegations were never proven and 4 months later the SDs begged BM to let them move back into the house with her and SF cause they did not like to follow our rules. Now my point is that even if they were or were not being molested shouldn't BM have took action then asked questions? I have a teenage daughter myself, and if she came to me and told me that her SF was doing things to her I certainly would not throw HER out of the house. HE would be put out until we could gt to the bottom of it. She ALWAYS puts herself in front of her girls. when the oldest graduated high school she could not go to graduation cause she met a new man over the internet and had to fly out of state to meet him for the 1st time. She told SD that this was the only weekend that the rates were low and it was cheaper to go that weekend. And no matter what she does to these girls they always go back to her and think that she is the greatest mom.
Everytime she steps all over these girls we are the ones to pick up the pieces ,only to have her come back later and take all the glory. What Can we do?
