My boyfriend of 2 years and I have decided to wait until the kids are grown and out of high school to marry. This could take 8 years but I need to stay near the girls father in order to say true to our custody arrangement. My boyfriend needs to be with his son in another town. This was not an easy conclusion to come to since we would much rather be together raising our children. Is there anyone else out there that has waited before marriage and not regreted the time? I know that I have made the right decision for me and he feels the same for himself. I am financially independent yet it is hard to have all the responsibility. Can a relationship endure this amount of time not living together? Suggestions?? Thanks.
