I've been researching a TV series on step/blended families and the challenges they face, and let me say that as the mom of two very high energy kids, I don't know how you folks manage to stay sane and deal with what you have to...

To that end, I am looking for families willing to participate in the series. You get paid $1000 plus perks (related to the family bonded activity, like hiking or skiing, or whatever) plus counselling in dealing with the specific challenges you may have.

The production company has several great series on the go right now and you can view at www.propertelevision.com.
I should mention we are looking for folks in the Toronto, or southern Ontario area.

I appreciate the feedback

I appreciate the feedback and confess to beginning to understand the situation of blended families a little better, and it's not an easy road.

But, I really need families located near Toronto -- not so far away as Amy, for example -- and hoped that posting here would attract someone local.

I think you should really

Look for a balance between those families who are making it work really well (like those of us who can have coffee with our exH's wife) and those who have no support (like those of us who's DH's exW don't acknowledge our existence.) Some of us have BOTH in the same family
Not sure if there's a Canadian site, but we are pretty scattered across the world on this one.
