My daughter is 8 and she is with us full time. My husband has 3 kids (has never been full time with them - we see our teenage boys once a week and teenage daughter 4 times a year as she lives out of state). When we come home from school/work, we have about an hour before she goes to bed. They don't talk. It is the "pleasantries" of "how was school - good." "How was your day - long." There really isn't much more than that. There used to be. However, he said that she was constantly "babbling" and so she doesn't talk much anymore. He complains now that she doesn't talk anymore or share about her day. There is a strain between them and I am scared that it is affecting her at school - she has been getting in trouble..... What can I do??????????
