So I learned through the grapevine that dh's ex has gotten a huge promotion, so why do I care?
Well, her salary will be higher than my dh's by far........so.......I think she will not fight daughter's emancipation in a year. Why would she?
And the best gift of all.. She likely will be moving across the country and on holidays, etc, dh's daughters will follow there. What would keep them around here anymore?
I hope I do not sound heartless, but these chicks have been awful awful!!!
I should add that dh even contacted daughter off in Middle East, at my urging please recall.........and sent her a beautiful gushing letter of adoration.........only to get a one liner to Skype her so she can tell him why she needs to be alone there saving the downtrodden. Dh strangely was offended, and they have not contacted each other since......over a month ago. So I think neither party really wants a reconciliation.. Which suits me fine.
And yes stepaside I am leaving this well alone. I am NOT telling dh about my piece of gossip. I will not be able to keep the delight out of my voice!!!! Lol..........
