CS from a BM whose only means of supporting herself is SDI?

Currently BM lives off of her monthly SDI and her spousal support. Her SS expires Jan 2014. She will then have no other income besides her SDI. DH used to pay her a large CS amount, but it has since stopped due to the fact DH has custody of SD now and has her 90% of the time.

Has ANYONE ever gotten CS from a BM when they are all but broke? Will they take it out of her SDI?

She is on permanent disability. I said SDI and then thought better but had already sent the post.
