TGI... MONDAY!!!
This past weekend, SD brought her ipod with a truth or dare game downloaded. She asked SS to play it with her early Sun. am. When she got home, Sun. night, she told her mom that my SS dared her to kiss him. From what I can tell the game gave you 3 dares to choose from, one being a kiss, which my SS changed to "on the arm" - something SD "forgot" to tell.
This is about the 5-6 time SD has not told her dad (or me) about something that happened at our house, instead waiting to tell BM. Most of these were minor instances: name calling, or not sharing. SS has been punished/reprimanded accordingly.
This time, I want to delay punishment until Wednesday (we have SD over Thanksgiving) and punish both kids - as they are equally guilty.
I've asked DH to not to have SD delete the game from her ipod until we (I) get a chance to look at it.
how old are they? just normal
how old are they? just normal sibling stuff by the sound of it and SD dealing with it in the way that gets her the best results. Be careful you don't get played.
9 & 12. I agree, normal
9 & 12. I agree, normal sibling stuff, but since they are only steps, that's where it gets tricky.
BM is now acting like SD is in danger at our house and as a result, I don't want DS alone w/ SD ever - just
to prevent any further damage.
