Step Son Quits Job
My soon to be 21 year old stepson profile:
Works seasonal landscaping job.
During the off season (November - March) he collects unemployment benefits.
JUST got hired in a NEW job (union, full time plus overtime, medical / dental = a real job)....worked ONE day and decided that he didn't like it and QUIT the NEW job (due to the hours 3:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.).
I told my husband that he better not come over here asking for one penny because he now will probably no longer be able to get his unemployment benefits from the seasonal job since he just voluntarily quit his new job.
My husband AGAIN feels sorry for the kid. I told him that the kid couldn't man up and deal with working these hours until AT LEAST his seasonal landscape job becomes available to him again in March (which is basically another 30 "work days"). My husband defended his son and said that what 20 year old wants to get up at 3:30 in the morning to go to work! Auuuuuugh. There is just NO reasoning with him when it comes to his kids. Whatever happened to you gotta do what you gotta do!!!
BAHAHAHA I told my brother
BAHAHAHA I told my brother the same thing. He was all pissy at sunday dinner because my mom was asking DH and I about our house plans. He said I always get everything I want...yea because I WORK for it moron...get a job and keep it!
When I was 19, I got up every
When I was 19, I got up every morning at 3:00 to be at work by 4:00 A.M.
You do what you gotta do.
What 20 year old wants to get
What 20 year old wants to get up that early? Hell what person of any age wants to do that.
But that is exactly what I had to do when I was 20 to get computer time.
Hell, at 40 I dont feel like
Hell, at 40 I dont feel like getting my fat ass out of bed at 6am. But I do.
