Remember guys, he's been out of work since JUNE. Today he got mad at me for calling him @ 3:30 because I was interrupting his NAP. While I'm at work BUSTING MY BUTT.

Ummmm, do you realize how EXHAUSTING it is to try and get back to sleep???? ***please note my sarcasm here***

LOL! That is truly priceless. I know you couldn't do anything but stare at the phone and blink. Just in shock and awe.

Ugh. Sounds like it's time to lose the dead weight you've been dragging around. Really tho, don't you think you'd be better off on your own? That would at least force him to grow up, get up and get a job.

This will amuse you! My DH was out of work for 18 months, including when I was home with my youngest BD after she was born. I had to go back to work when she was 6 WEEKS old because that's all the maternity leave my company would allow me to have. DH couldn't watch youngest BD, even though he was at home, because that would hinder his ability to "work." Doing what? Plus, while I was home with youngest BD and BD3 and just exhausted from caring for two kids, he was in the basement napping in front of his computer! I told him he failed his audition for being a stay-at-home dad!

i would call every 30 to 40 minutes to make sure that there was no nap taking going on! either crank call and hang up (if you dont have call id) or call for some stupid reason....i hate when i am working and dh is at home sleeping on his days off. on my days off im expected to care for his son, do the grocery shopping, clean the house and do the laundry, ummmmmmm if im not taking a nap, neither is he!

I agree with Smnikki on this one. Don't give him the opportunity. Or leave him a 'Hunny Do' list. Or ask how much shopping he plans on doing for the dinner he's going to be making tonight....you deserve a day off!

My DH has never been out of work, but the economy is bad right now! Is he trying to get a job atleast?

When I was out of work for 3 months in a roll I napped all the damn time! It was wonderfulllllllllll.........of course, when Dh got home dinner was done and all the housework.....so he had that! Wink

I don't think it's worth divorcing, but just make sure he finds time after that little nap to look for a job! LOL
