a really lousy excuse for a BM

How bad can a BM be? I guess maybe I could understand this woman who is my skid's BM IF she was a teenage mom, who got pregnant in the back of a car and was stuck in a horrible situation...maybe then, but how can a woman who married at a reasonably mature age, with a moderate amount of money and job potential who begged and begged my BF to procreate with her despite his resistence (not enough obviously) be such a horrid mother? How can she spend so much time and energy figuring out how to dump him on us the most possible ways? Get this...really I must share....skid is having a birthday next month and the custody schedule is now every other week. We have the kid for his birthday, and he wouldn't get to celebrate with his mother for almost a week. Sadly, the skid still adores his mother and has no clue yet who she really is. We suggest that she take him the day after his birthday to have a fun celebration with him. She responded that she would take him and celebrate his birthday with him ONLY if we negotiated a trade for another day! What? She begged for this kid, messed up how many people's lives because of her choice, and now she has to negotiate with us before she will celebrate his birthday with him? Phenomenal.

Oh yes, the BM who initially is mother theresa to skid when divorce is involved and a pawn is needed and then a few years down the track will dump that kid as soon as possible as they are now inconvenient. Tragically we have nearly all been there.

Selfish horrible cows they are.

BM of my skids decided she didn't want to be a mom anymore and walked out. She decided her abusive boyfriend, drugs and alcohol are more important--hasn't paid child support or talked to the kids in almost 2 years. Isn't allowed to see the kids per court order until she follows through on the orders of the divorce/custody agreement. However, she calls us to tell us that she HAS to see the kids because not seeing them was keeping her sick (using drugs and alcohol) and when she was with them, she wasn't using---ummm you walked out on them to use drugs and alcohol--but then she ends up at a rehab that gives money to buy the residents' children Christmas presents--she calls us and says they are making her do it, not that she wants to do it--haven't heard from her since and alas no Christmas presents. Her mom told us she only uses the kids to get sympathy...talk about dumping the kids when they became inconvenient...
