PAS question
What does everyone mean when their kid or stepkid PAS'd out? I know what PAS stands for. What I don't understand is how. For example, DH has a court ordered visitation schedule. I know bm can be in contempt if she refuses to allow dh pick him up or whatever. But what about when the KID refuses to come for visitation? Can the court ordered visitation still be enforced or is that what is meant by PAS out? DH is insistent that as long as he pays cs that ss WILL visit him no matter what. Realistically the kid already doesn't like to come & I know as he gets older he'll want to stay home with friends and other teen activities. (he's 12 now.) But can the visitation be enforced even if the kid is the one who doesn't want to come? Anyone have experience?
well about the 12 year old
well about the 12 year old not wanting to come to visitation, he is still a child, not 18 so he can still be forced to come, BUT he probably wont like it too much and rebel.
Any way to prevent it? I mean
Any way to prevent it? I mean that can still happen while the child is under 18 AND there is a court ordered visitation plan?
Is PAS short for "Parental
Is PAS short for "Parental Alienation Syndrome" in this context?
