Just Have to Ignore SD !

Well, I guess that I have reached my plateau with this step-parenting thing. I hate to admit that I am to the point where I wished that SD would move in with her BM. The SD and I do not communicate at all and to tell you the truth, I really don't mind. I have rearranged my life to try and make this child feel as if she is loved. But, I constantly get attitude and talk back. Well, I took control over the situation and took back the Ipod and cell phone that I had brought her. She has never really wanted us ( SM & BD ) to be together, but she liked what I brought to the table ( spa visits, hair done, expensive sneakers). Well, the gravy train has come to a complete halt.

My question is how old is your SD? The age of a kid can have so much to do with how they act.

Regardless, if you've had enough, kudos to you for taking back control. And to be frank, it feels good, doesn't it?
