BM is writing a book - lol!!

BM has been telling everyone that she is writing a book about her life. Seriously. The skids told us this about a year ago and I saw it on BM's facebook page last week (yes I looked at it - BM posts all kinds of great stuff. Helps to know what she is up to next). I am sure the book will be riveting since she got knocked up at 19 and then sat on her ass in the same small town for the next 21 years. What an original story just begging to be told. The best part is that there is supposedly a chapter about me called "Stepmom". Can't wait, lol! Luckily she is an idiot and can't finish ANYTHING so I am sure this book will never get done, but its still funny!

Are you staying with DH or leaving? If you're leaving, I think you should write a novel based on this situation to warn others about getting involved with people who have kids.

Good idea then the bio-mother can kibbitz it. Round and round we go.

If its good it should be required reading before a step-parent license is issued. License? Yeah the one I think should be required before anyone becomes a step-parent. It would be only after a complete psychiatric exam which everyone would fail since knowledgeably desiring to be a step-parent is proof in and of itself of insanity. Beee

dtzy, there is a book like the one you describe already called No one's the Bitch. It's co-written between a step mom and a bio-mom.

My own relationship with my skids BM isn't awful - we are cordial to each other at times - but I certainly disagree with a LOT of her parenting choices and no way in hell I would sit down to write a book with her.

LOL!! Ours too - it would be a trailer park version of Shades of Grey. She has "dated" aka banged a couple times - a man 15 years younger who lived in a trailer in SS13's friends backyard, the middle school attendance lady, some nasty neighbor who would email nude photos to her (skid stumbled across one), and other assorted losers. All introduced to skids as mom's boyfriend or if female "good friend" and allowed to practically move in.

The funny part is that BM is in complete denial about all of this - she acts as if she is holier than thou and totally has her act together. Hilarious!

What is it with these women thinking they can publish ANYTHING?

BM here wants to publish a poetry book. 99% of the "poems" are written about my DH. I have read a few of them. She left the book on her kitchen counter when I was dog sitting for her once. They are ridiculous. **EYEROLL**

The only thing that should truly be published that has ANYTHING to do with BM is possibly a public safety notice.
