Birthday Present ideas for SS?

My SS birthday is coming up soon, he will be turning 12, he is a great kid with no real issues. My DH is clueless when it comes to birthday and christmas presents. Any ideas what to get a 12 year old for his birthday? He likes to build things, during his summer visit this year, we got him an army tank/solider set that you can paint and put together and he really liked that.

Anyone have a SS that is around this age? What are they into these days? LOL

Airfix models are good but he may need a hand with it.
you can get planes, boats etc.
or how about a scalextrix ?

What is scalextrix? I've never heard of it. He still really likes Lego's so maybe a big Lego project?

My son is 11, what does he like? Mine likes video games, WWE, etc. What about tickets to a WWE show. Tickets to a concert? Is he active a bmx bike, atv. Action figures, PSP, Nintendo DSi,a gamefly.com membership.

He has a cell phone that his BM got him, but it's only for emergencies. Maybe a Kindle? He loves to read. Smile

Thanks! Yea we spend about $100 to $150 per kid for Birthday and Christmas, they already have a bunch of stuff. I love online shopping! I hate going into stores! LOL Trying to think of things that his half-siblings won't destroy. BM lets her new kids pretty much break anything but we only have skids during the summer. Sad
