Recently the ex/ BM/ nasty old bat called us to say she would be staying out of town and NOT picking up the 3skids per court order.
She has them (or did I should say) during the week, we have them on the weekends. She said she had been kicked out of her parent's home and had no where to take them. This is after years of jumping towns, abusive loosers, fair weather friends' houses, schools, etc. she is unbelievably selfish and self obsessed. Now we have the older 2, they want to live with us because they are already sick of her lies and instability, but the youngest (8) is with her now...after ten days the crazy ex came back for a "visit" and refused to bring the youngest back to us.
Now she snags her from school early and runs off not saying where she is staying *(she is now technically homeless couch surfing no doubt).
We filed a motion to change primary residence, called DHHS, but legally she can take ANY of the kids because the old order stands until the new order is decided upon. Including CS? Even if the kids are with us??
Here's the Q: The youngest is being turned against all of us aleready(her 2 other sibs included) and is, I'm sure, the only "weapon" the creepy ex has up her sleave. She has done this before to the oldest who is wise to it now....and even sees it happening to the youngest.
So - what should I do? How would you act when the youngest tells us all the "FUN!" things her mother is letting her do now (oh I wonder why...),how she "likes" sleeping on the floor of where ever 'mommy' is, how "awesome" her mom is, etc, etc...and while they put on an act at school functions.
This is going to by a long battle isn't it....
