Daddy's girl won't let new mama in
I am engaged to a man with a 15 yr old daughter who is sooooo attached to him. Long story, she has had some past abuse issues with women. Never met a good mom role model yet. I have been a mom for 17 years to my own kids and think I did ok, and they say so too. She is very jealous. When I talk to him on the phone at his place, she always starts messing with his hair or saying things in the background. If we are all together, and she sees us hugging, she leaves the room pouting. I want to be nice, patient and understanding....but there comes a point when I want to tell her to get with the program. I am the Alpha female now, and its time to sort out her new role in the family. It is not just the 2 of them anymore. ADVICE PLEASE!

Yuck, 15 and messing with
Yuck, 15 and messing with her dad's hair and pouting when he shows you affection?
I'd think long and hard about continuing your relationship with him. It doesn't sound like you live together yet, so really, you aren't the alpha female yet either, you're disposable still, atleast in her eyes.
If he's exposed her to bad female role models then think again about whether he's actually someone you want to be with. Men that suck at parenting don't make great husbands.
