Found a note pad message from sd15 to sd11 about spending week end with DH and stepmonster, me? Do you just blow it off or do we have to deal with this crap.
Tape the note to her bedroom door so she knows you saw it, then don't do anything for her or say anything to her while shes there. You have feelings and she should know that.
I'm thinking of not giving her the 1D ( one direction) ticket I got her, well all 4 of us. As is BM' s weekend when the concert is on. Is that too nasty. I've told DH to let her know she can no longer join us at the event. . .
It continues even as they get older. I found a piece of paper from the notepad I keep in the kitchen, it was shoved in the couch in the family room and written on it was "BITCH" in big letters all in caps. My SS is 20 years old.
I know it was left for me, I am the only one that vacuums the furniture. I was so tempted to write one that said "ASSHOLE" and leave it in his bed, but I refrained.
I could care less! Disengaged! I've learned to accept the fact that HHB thinks I'm a b***h and she wants nothing to do with me. Personally, I don't want to have anything to do with her...lying, manipulation, disrespectful. Why would I want someone like that in my life? I know HHB tells the world all kinds of lies about me to make them feel sorry for her. If they are dumb enough to believe them, chances are they are people I don't associate with anyway (like BM). As long as her lies don't bring down any kind of legal trouble. There are so many out there who DO see through her crap, I don't think I have anything to worry about. And as long as she hates me, less chance of her trying to move back into my house!
My kids know the truth, and that is all that really matters to me. They know I'm tough, but it is only to turn them into responsible adults. My kids thank me all the time for being the kind of mom I was, especially BS20! When he sees where his cousins on my ex's side of the family are, and where his early childhood friends are (here is a clue...orange jumpsuits), he looks at himself in college playing football making something of himself and is happy I didn't let him be a little snot! If I was such a bad person, he wouldn't WANT to come home every school break, now would he!
He did confront her. She says it was not meant for us to find. But we did. Then we had BM messaging DH on how bad I am and am reaping what I have sewed. ... Blah blah.... It's still stuck on our fridge and I am still the holder of One Direction tickets which they would like. Feel like selling them right now as I know it is going to be an issue as it happens to be on BM weekend.
