Yea...my kids look nothing like me!! It drives me nuts. I am tall and light. Light skin, eyes, hair. My EX was white, but dark hair and eyes.

My kids both have brown hair and brown eyes. My DD is barely over 5ft.

Now I just want a grand kid that looks like me!

SD15 doesn't really look like her dad either...spitting image of her mom in looks/actions/personality...yay!! He did have a test done when they divorced and he found out about all of the affairs BM had. She's his...a fact I sometimes wish were not the case.

I wouldn't bring this up to your DH. Let him be the one to question and test, hopefully without his daughter being any wiser. That would be devastating to her.

And to top it off BM was openly cheating on FDH, that's why they got a divorce. However BM didn't give a shit about her kids, and FDH is the only father the youngest girl has. FDH got physical custody of them in the divorce. So, FDH said to me, "Chances are (youngest girl) isn't mine. But I never want to find out for sure. I'm raising her. She calls me dad. I love her. And there is no way I am going to make (youngest girl) go live with BM and tell (youngest girl) I don't want her or love her because her mom F*cked up and cheated on me."

He won't even look at blood types because of it.

I really want to know. It kills me not to know for 100% certainty, but then I am afraid I will slip up someday.

My DSstb13 actually looks more like my now-DH (DS's stepdad)! Funny, huh? And I swear I did not know DH when DS was conceived!

My first DH and I had a lot of the same coloring/features -- dark hair, green eyes, olive skin. My DD15 looks like a cross between my first DH and I and she gets her height from her dad (we both have some Native American heritage).

My DS has a fair complexion, blue eyes, short.

My OB/Gyn (who delivered both my kids) was even a little surprised when I had DS because he looked NOTHING like either of us or my daughter.

But he's mine, all mine (and my first DH's). I swear.

I have a SD5 who looks nothing like my DH too. DH and BM were never married, SD wasn't planned, she was an "oopsie" (BM trying to trap DH). I always wonder if she is even his kid but he refuses to get a paternity test. Men are stupid.

I think my ex's girlfriend doesn't like my DD15 because she looks so much like me and not him. She has his toes, blue eyes and his height (she's 5'8", he's 6' and I'm only 5') but she wanted to be short like me!

Anyhow, my brother didn't look like either of my parents either! Dad is short with dark brown eyes, mom is short with green eyes. My brother is 6'1" with blue eyes! LOL Dad and my brother never really bonded or had a good relationship due to my dad always wondering if he were really his biological son, you know?

ETA: Stepdevil14 looks EXACTLY like her mother. And no, it's not the reason I don't like her, since I never really saw BM up close until recently so had no idea exactly HOW much stepdevil resembles her.

Our son looks nothing like his father. Our daughter looks nothing like me. Yet I can assure you that we are both their biological parents.
