Don't know where the skids are
BM emailed Thursday saying she was taking the skids out of town for the weekend to celebrate their grandma's birthday.
Custody order says she has to give 1 week notice, including travel plans and contact info for any overnight trips away from her home.
DH asked for this info, she didn't reply. He hasn't talked to the skids since Thursday night. No answer on her house or cell phone; and no replies to texts or emails (he sent 1 text yesterday and 1 email yesterday asking for the travel info).
DH is all up in arms ready to ask for charges for her for violation of the agreement, but I have this feeling she'll come back with some excuse that's just good enough to get out of it. Like it was a last minute trip and she forgot her phone charger; or they ended up not going at all and she was just unavailable to answer the phone.
If she wasn't so shady, I'd probably buy either one of those excuses.

If he takes her to court and loses, she will walk away empowered and feeling completely validated in what she's done. It just feels like a no-win sometimes.
DH will pursue the charges .. I just hope it works out .. for once.

As I suspected, BM sent an email last night saying skids went to two birthday parties, a sleepover, and a birthday event for their grandma.
No mention of being out of town. No reason for not answering the phone (house or cell) for 4 straight days.
So I'm guessing the lawyer/court won't really be able to do anything about this. It will come down to her word against DH's. Plus I'm sure her mother and friends will back her story, whether it's true or not.
