not my proudest moment...

So, DH has his sister and her brood as well as SD12 over. 5 kids in total... I was going out- which he knew, but he wanted them over... ok...

I had plans to go to a GF's house and he was going to come too, but since we had SD for the day, he stayed home. No problem- party wasn't kid friendly.

I had to go get ready and since I am childless I like to take my time getting ready- you know- body scrub, super long shower, conditioning treatment etc.. etc.. So, I took my damn time, partly because I had no intention of being part of the chaos that was occurring in our home.

When I finally went downstairs, ready for a night on the town- SD12 looked at me and sneered, "All that? THAT took 2 hours?" (I looked smokin'...LOL)

I calmly, but nastily sneered back, "YUP. How 'bout that?????" The same you would to some bitchy girl in high school back in the day. I know my eyes challenged her to a fight... she looked away completely spooked.

again... not my proudest moment...

Lol, you should be proud you only said that.

I probably would have looked at her and said, "Well, avoiding you DOES take a lot of time."

At her age she is not a child. She knows what she was doing by saying that and it probably shocked her when she got it right back. Good for you. When we were teens, my Mom always told us if we ever had the nerve to step to her like a woman then she'd handle us like a woman. Uh, we didn't mess with Momma. Lol

I think that sounded like a totally proud moment. If skids can dish it out, they can take it.

Oh God yeah, she's lucky that's all she got!!

I don't think I would have been so restrained LOL

and no, the 12 yo was acting like a bitch, not wrong to call her one.

At 12 the girl knew what she was doing, and thought you would cower! Bitch.

Good for you.
