So, I haven't been on here in quite some time. The skids are now 18 (sd) and 14 (ss) and we have a 2 year-old bs. I'm happy to announce that things have been great around here. I cut all contact with sd about a year ago when she tried once again to accuse me of abuse after harming herself. It has been glorious. The courts finally ruled that BM is not to have contact of any kind with the children AND pay child support. Of course, neither have happened. However, SS finally became mature enough to put two and two together and see that BM has been the root of his problems all along. He has quit playing her games and since then has really come around and is blossoming into a young man to be proud of now that he realizes that nothing he does will change her. He even introduces me as his mom to people (which feels pretty good even though I do not in any way expect that) and has told me that he couldn't imagine a better mom. We just celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We have been together 7 years now and have had full custody of the children for 6 years and I am REALLY happy that I never gave up.
