I was on this site about a year ago and deleted my account because I thought I didn't need it anymore, but it turns out, no one understands stepfamily life if they have never actually been a step parent. You also don't know what life is going to throw at you when you are married to someone with kids and a crazy ex.

I've been married a year, together 8 years, I have BD15, BD12 and SD12 and SD9, SD9. Yes, all girls, even the cats and dog is a girl. We have my kids 50/50 week on week off, no child support exchanged. I get along well with my ex, he lives in the next subdivision over and all the kids are in the same school system. My SD12 just spent the night at his house with BD12 this weekend.

BM is high conflict and has recently disappeared after being evicted from her rental house and fired from her job. She received a pension payout from a previous employer for around 70k and blew through it in less than 3 months. We have not heard from her in over a week and a half we have a strong suspicion that she is in a mental health hospital.

I guess I'm just posting this to say Hi and tell you all that there is more to come...
