Scene - my house, early this morning. Alarm goes off. I roll over to see DH already awake, looking at his phone. The following conversation takes place...

DH - well, this should be interesting.

Me - mmppphh? (I am NOT a morning person)

DH - looks like a CS payment came in.

Me - mmmmmppphhh? (am not coherent until I have coffee)

DH - holy F$%k! It's $5500 dollars!

Me - ARE YOU KIDDING ME?????? (apparently, money also makes me coherent)

DH - yup, guess someone got the message about a possible show cause hearing, huh?

Me - perhaps, or someone is about to do something which required her to clear some of her outstanding CS.

DH - who cares, right?

Me - yeah, I don't GAF. Just glad you're finally getting something.

So, when I got to work this morning, I logged in to MiSDU and saw this -

She is still in arrears to the tune of $5800, but holy hell, we will definitely take the $5500 payment!!!

Every penny was personally cursed by her as she placed that payment. Every last cent. D*mn undeserving kids, may SM slip on ice, may ex's vehicle get a huge dink in the side door....*mutter #%$&@ mutter*

ooooh, didn't think about that. I will ask The Spy Who Loved Me to do a drive by and see.

My initial thought is that she's filed with state to create yet another LLC, but the last time she did that, they made her pay ALL of the outstanding debt.

My guess is that she was told exactly how much she would have to pay to keep her out of the jumpsuit.

We got her tax refunds a while back. I bet that burned her ass, and I KNOW this one burned her ASS.

Didn't think she had it in her, to be quite honest.

we got her federal and state refunds a while back. Pretty sure she lost her shit, but we never heard a peep out of her, thank DOG!!

she doesn't typically file her taxes until the very last second, and usually gets an extension.

I don't care why or how it got there, I am just glad DH got some money.

ASS has not been in my home since June of 2016. He will not be in my home ever again.

DH takes the skids to see him at ASSCollege once in a while. In fact, it's ASS's birthday on Saturday, so DH is taking the skids up to ASSCollege to see him.

Apparently, he is doing well in school. Not that I give a shit, because I do not Smile

So, Thing1 is graduating at the end of next month. He landed himself a very lucrative consulting gig in Chicago and he is going to Europe after graduation and before he starts his job. That's on his dime.

He just texted me, "Adam and some of the guys want to go on a cruise in May - it's $600. What do you say to chipping in as part of my graduation gift?"

My reply? "was going to give you cash, as you know."

I am going to pay for the whole damn cruise - graduation and birthday. Courtesy of Medusa Smile
