Does anyone else notice when 1 poster is missing that there are other posters missing as well?

I know people come and go... but there are a couple of posters I'm like where have they been and then it gets me thinking... are they the same person? :?

I've also noticed that when one of the nutty posters come out, the "other" nutters follow right behind her.

In real life, I have known a few males who are total whack jobs and could easily see them on here stirring the pot.

Ditto, Major. IMHO, they are pathetic little people with pathetic little lives who are too ignorant to figure out how to improve their lives so they resort to Malarky and Baloney and Meanness and Crazy. Think of all the GOOD, PRODUCTIVE things those people could be doing if they would only TRY!!

Last she was here she was rubbing her hands in greed over how she thought BM would have to pay her CS and she'd get the skids. BM had an accident and money signs were dancing in Blackhole's eyes.

Pfft. By now, she's too busy to update cause she's so happy and the skids are calling her 'Mommy' now and life is so grand she no longer needs to vent. I did see she deleted all her blogs from accident and the house buying on back to May.

Ah, I'd forgotten the poster's name who's SS knocked up her DD w/twins that they didn't want to raise, but didn't want DH/SS/MIL/Church to raise either. Wonder if she decided to divorce DH, move DD & herself a 1000 miles away after releasing parental rights or if they are still fussing.

When she denied deleting posts, I knew it was a sham. Mine was the first one she deleted. I know there are some really nice people here who don't want to believe that someone would make up a story about a child being molested but there are some very sick minds out there.

One comment was about the past. He would take dd and drop off with sd now he isn't allowed to take her for visitation and he only sees her at the house. Whatever. I'm done defending myself.

Cocktail I never said one way or the other, I was bothered by the possibility of it actual occurring and bothered by the flip side of it being made up. Either way it was disturbing.

I don't think I gave her "crap" (maybe others did) but I just had a lot of valid questions.. things that weren't adding up for me. When she deleted my last round of questions (which were not rude or mean in any way), and I noticed that she deleted other comments as well questioning the veracity of her story, then I knew 10000%. if that's not a red flag for a red herring, I'm not sure what is.

It was the fact that she was lying about deleting posts. I wouldn't have said one word about her deleting what I said. But she was just adamant that she didn't delete anything. Um, yes, you did.

I have ever right to delete what I want BUT I DID NOT DELETE ANYTHING! Why would I lie about deleting comments and editing them? People delete stuff everyday and are encouraged to BUT I DID NOT!!

I delete inappropriate commets wherever I find them. It is possible that someone did Not delete comments from their blog.

It is not any user's job to determine if someone is lying and then call them a liar.

Just to be clear I'm not 100% referring to the post/OP that you are referring to. Yes it triggered me thinking about the general topic but I'm referring to just in general- one poster leaves and posters who normally post a lot are all of the sudden gone.

So my post is more about when one poster gets banned, leaves whatever, all of a sudden 2 or 3 active posters are gone too.

Yeah, I wasn't feeling the Tommar/Sheldon connection... I think they are two completely different people. Tommar was River and Camper and something else along the way without a doubt, but not Sheldon

It's possible to fake being a terrible speller and both made occasional sexual (disgusting) references to minors.
ETA also both were highly critical of any stepmom that alienated the husbands from stepkids for any reason and both would viciously pick a poster to relentlessly attack. Tommar has had many names, I don't think anyone can disagree with that.

So weird because it's like 2 "normal" stories... told by the same person??? It's one thing to make up a crazy story for the attention and drama it brings. But to just post as a normal person, but 2 different people.

Not saying it's the case with her... but just in general.

I try to give a poster (especially newbs) the benefit of the doubt. After all, I've had some unbelievable shizzit happen in MY life. However, when the blogs get crazier and crazier, and/or the poster is flat out MEAN and EVIL, I stay away. I admit to posting on a few because the completely-off-topic TANGENTS were amusing, but I try to steer clear of what I deem to be fantasy islands. As for abusive posters, it's called FLAG.

Chocolate chip cookie dough liqueur is tasty in coffee!

I have also used it in frosting for brownies (in replace of Baileys Irish Cream).

I think like follows like. You have a bunch of people having fun, you get more of that. You have a bunch of people struggling, but trying to help each other, you get more of that. You have a bunch of jerks getting off on creating an unpleasant environment, you get more of that. You have posters testing their creative writing skills, you get more of that. That's why I think active admins and liberal use of the delete/flag buttons are the best tools for keeping discussions from disintegrating entirely.
