Cookie making - lots of them!
Chocolate on hand everywhere.
Kitties always get a gift.
I add condensed milk to my coffee.
We take SDs to holiday festival in town.

We went fake this year b/c our tree got so dry last year I'm like, never, ever again.
I think DH had the hardest time realizing the SDs didn't want to go hunt and cut down trees any longer.

Favorite Christmas song? What Child is this? arrangement by Mormon Tabernacle Choir fyi For me the words are so moving. Silent Night Especially if you give birth during Christmas like I did.

Favorite Christmas movie? Charles Dickens A Christmas Carol with Alistar Sims playing scrooge, 2nd would be George C Scott as scrooge.

Christmas traditions? Our home is decorated at Thanksgiving so we can enjoy the holiday times. Husband and I wrap gifts about 1 week before drinking egg nog or what ever drink we desire while kiddies are sleeping. After early Mass it's cocktails for adults, holiday punch for the kids and light Hor'derves THEN off to bed for the kids. We watch Its a Wonderful Life then Midnight Mass--it's beautiful from Rome.

As a little girl, My Dad would take bells and ring them outside our window. He would call us and pretend he was Santa Claus too....Grandparents would come by for cocktails on Christmas Eve. I remember the Orange Bulb Window Lights glowing--I am pretty sure we were sent to be at 7pm. Christmas was magical for us and we made sure it was the same for ours.
