OT - Update - biopsy scheduled

I went for a 3D mammogram on Tuesday after they found something on my MRI last week. The doctor reviewed and said it doesn't show much on there and that the MRI is more detailed. She said she wants me to schedule an MRI guided biopsy as soon as I can. The first available they had was this coming Wednesday (the 14th) so I got that set up. DH is coming with me, of course. Hopefully it is nothing and all of this stress and worry is for nothing. Thanks again everyone for your kind words. I'll let you know once I have the results; I hope they are quick about it.

I am going to the beach this weekend with my mom, DH, and my 2 dogs so that will help keep my mind off of everything.

Why are you having MRIs? Are you BRCA+?

Most of the time MRI findings are nothing. It catches a lot of benign changes. Fingers crossed for you!

Yes, I am BRCA+. My mom was diagnosed at 38, and both of my grandmoms are also breast cancer survivors. I get checked twice a year....an MRI in the summer and a tomosynthesis (3D) mammogram in the winter. I've had 3 each and all have been clear until now.

hang in there Charlotte, I still say I do not thinks it's serious.... just relax, have positive thoughts and try not to stress......

holding all 10 fingers and toes that everything will be A okay...
