Kinda O/T Working from home

I had to delete most of my blogs because of the situation with my in laws and the fact SO and I will very likely have to taken them to court. For those of you that read my blogs I'm the lady with the terrible ferral children where the SD10 even walks around the house with dry poop in her hands, well I haven't posted in a while but my situation is extremely bad, things have only gotten worse and for those who remember I have been working on my exit plan. I cannot ask friends or family for help as they don't get it and think that due to my severe health problems I should just suck it up because at least I will have someone by my side ( SO ) well I rater be alone with my health problems that face what I do in my own home. I contacted several women shelters but they told me that although sorry for my situation being a SM doesn't qualify to get a shelters help. I have been saving all I can and followed the advice you ladies gave me for an exit plan, my issue is I need more money and I'm currently home bond, I have been looking for jobs you can do from home, companies like eBay and amazon have them but I don't have the qualifications for it, I was told theres some call center jobs you can do from home but haven't found anything that is not a scam, I thought I would post here and see if any of you ladies knows about anything like that, any call center jobs that don't ask for much qualifications and that I could do while home bond so I can save money. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm doing all I can to leave this behind and have no problems working I just need some help/advice in the right direction. Thank you so much for your help.

This company is legit: Alpineaccess/Sykes Home. Alpineaccess has been around for years and was bought out by Sykes Home a couple of years ago. The company has been featured on our local news several times. It is mostly customer service work with in bound calls. Pay is minimum wage or slightly above. You have to have a land line and a quiet place to work. There is a Q and A page on their website that will give you more info. There are several sites that have reviews about working for the company.

I remember your story and wish you all the luck in the world. Hope a job can help you out.

^^This^^ I interviewed with AlpineAccess. They are legit. I had a landline, but had to buy a corded phone. The interview was on speaker phone. Paid training. I bailed out because my father was dying and I couldn't commit to their schedule.

I am considering trying it again.

Glad to hear that you are still working to get out of that situation. It sounded horrible. Good luck.

Check out "work-at-home moms" website "wahm." They have tons of info about jobs you can do at home - and you don't have to be a mom! I have a friend who has gotten a couple of jobs from the leads from the site - they seem to be legit.

I worked for a short time from home as a customer service rep taking catering orders for Boston Market. They do a huge business catering lunches for doctor's offices that are paid for by drug reps. Anyway, they had in-house customer service people and people who worked from home. All the work at home reps had to live in Denver, where the corporate office was located. I don't think they do it any more - but you might check for any similar businesses that are located in your area.

I work from home. There are several WAH companies who have call center positions available. Two that I know are not scams are Sutherland Global Services and Convergys.
