What do you think the purpose of the flashbacks were- of the canibals before they turned bad?
I was thinking it was to show that at one time they were good people and that the circumstances of the way the world is now, turned them into "monsters". I think this applies to the main characters of the show. Since that seems to be a theme. The struggle of them (especially with Carol, Rick and Tyrese)- you have to sometimes do something bad to be able to survive.
I agree. I'm worried about Carol too. They make you really love a character, then they kill them off. I'm hoping they depart from that formula and save Carol! Melissa McBride is such a phenomenal actress.
Beth has not grown on me for some reason. I didn't even think about her that entire episode. When it was over , I was like, "Oh, right. Beth." Maggie doesn't even seem at all upset over her!
OMG...I still can't get over it! That episode was everything I could've wanted and then some. The action, the flaming walkers, the WTF moments. That trough scene...holy crap, I didn't think anything could shock me anymore but that was seriously disturbing. I hope Scott Gimple stays on as writer for a long time!
And those reunions...Daryl running to Carol and hugging her, putting his head down on her shoulder...that almost killed me. These two have loved each other since Season One, and if that's not proof right there, I don't know what is! Rick and Carol, Rick, Carl and Judith, Sasha and Tyreese, just beautiful. I love the shot of Carol and Michonne looking on as Rick was reunited with Judith. they knew they'd never have that happy reunion with their own children,but we're happy for Rick. I like how Abraham and Company held back and kept an eye on the woods during all this, like, "Y'all go ahead and have your moments. We'll stand watch."
Let's talk about my girl Carol. She's been my favorite character since Season Two. Couldn't tell you why. Maybe I just identified with her. But I always knew that someday, she'd do something big. People laughed at me. They're not laughing now! My girl kicked some Termite ass! She far exceeded my expectations of awesomeness! I mean, it took the Governor a tank and an army to take down the prison. Carol took down Terminus with a propane tank and a firecracker!there are no words for the epic ness of this episode.
But don't get comfortable. Remember: this is not a happy show. I have a feeling we're in for some major heartbreak this season.
I know we are in for heartbreak but I love these characters like they are my family. If anything happens to Daryl, Carol, Rick, Glen, Maggie or Michonne I will be devastated.
Carol, Daryl, Rick, Carl and Glenn....I'd be devastated. They're the original five survivors from season one. The longer they're with us, the harder it will be.
I loved her since she killed the walker with a screw driver in dale's camper. I loved when she called Lori out for being a spoiled whiny brat. I liked how she tried to handle things with Woodbury and the prison. As much as I like to think I would be a bad asks at the end of the world, I think I would be a lot like her
