How cute FDH...NOT
FDH's idea to entertain the kids this weekend was to make a fort out of all these cardboard boxes we have. I thought it was an awesome idea. They'll be entertained and once the boxes are trashed, they'll finally find their way to the garbage.
Drum roll please....FDH allows SD to camp in it. Not my little one, just SD. That's not even the shocking part. He allows her to drag it into our room. Yes, FDH allowed SD6 to camp on our bedroom floor.
FML...can't get away from this kid. Not even past bedtime. I'm so disgusted. Every time SD tries to sleep in our bed and she's deflected. Now this...some new way SD has manipulated her way into our room. This probably pisses me off more than it should but im so sick of her whining manipulations.

Because it would've ended in
Because it would've ended in a big fight and I'm not doing that in front of.the kids. Oh, but I'm not letting it go. There will be a discussion later.
^^^AGREE^^^ I would have had
^^^AGREE^^^
I would have had a couch night too if he allowed this. When the kids are sick or have a bad dream (only happened maybe 6 times in the last 5 years) they are allowed to sleep "with us" on top of the covers, no blanket/pillow for them or on the floor next to our bed, no pillow/no blanket. They don't come back into our room to sleep next time. Usually if they are sick, like with nausea, they sleep on the bathroom floor with pillow and blankets, our room is TOO UNCOMFORTABLE, we make it that way. However, SD sleeps in BM's bed...between BM and SD...we are not pleased with the news of that.
His balls are in a locked box
His balls are in a locked box in her little purse. "It's just for one night" ya know. Pfft
And I did sleep on the couch. Wouldn't be surprised to find out if she ended up crawling into our bed.
I have always said and always
I have always said and always believed that problems become so much more amplified if not dealt with before you both go to sleep, issues become deeper ingrained and couples have bigger problems once they start sleeping apart.
It is pretty simple, your bedroom is for YOU and your PARTNER, no children, yours, his, shared or borrowed.
Ofcourse you can now have a discussion about it, but its going to come down to what are you going to do next time? You need to stand up for yourself in your own home, because frankly he clearly doesnt care if you sleep on the coach because he has his daughter there.
THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!! "I'm
THAT'S RIDICULOUS!!! "I'm counting to three SD, and if this box is not on it's way out of our room it's going into the trash!" Ok "1, 2, 3" no movement....SMASH. "I guess it wasn't very important to you since you made no effort to keep it from becoming garbage" I would not give a flying F what DHs reaction would be. It's ok for the kids to see you stand up for your ADULT rights in your home.
I would have grabbed that box
I would have grabbed that box and tossed it in the trash. Or maybe out the window.
"Sorry SD, dad told you
"Sorry SD, dad told you wrong, kids do not sleep in our room, we snore way too loud for that. Do you see my kid in here? Nope and you wont! No kids in the bedroom. Take your box and yourself to the room you are supposed to be in. If not, it will be in the recycle bin. Goodnight!" That kid may have manipulated her daddy but it was him who got the best of you, and set a precedent for next time. Call bsers on their bs and move on, no fight necessary.
You shouldve started
You shouldve started masterbating! Seriously.
Moaning and shit.
You guys are definitely
You guys are definitely right. I've always been a doormat type. I'm better than I used to be but obviously still have work to do.
Sometimes even the thought of SD pisses me off so trying to argue about her, in front of her, has been a no no for me.
