Is it me?

Is it me or is this strange? SS17 follows DH around everywhere. I can understand if he was a young kid, but 17? DH goes upstairs, SS17 follows. DH goes downstairs, SS17 follows. I asked DH to go take out the trash and get this….SS17 FOLLOWS! Last night DH went to his Tae Kwondo class, SS17 followed and sat there and watched. I ordered a pizza last night DH went to pick it and SS17 insisted on going with him for the ride. It was raining, DH was telling SS17 just to stay home for 15 minutes while he ran out quickly, but SS17 would not listen he had to go with him! He is attached at DH’s hip. I just think this is strange behavior for a 17-year-old boy and senior in high school. When I was his age I stayed as far away from my parents as possible!

That's completely weird to me. I had moved out when I was 17 though, so maybe I'm biased... Haha.

Most likely a long established behaviour pattern that was never broken. I know all three skids, particularly YSS would hang on his father's leg (literally)and follow him into the bathroom.

Is this something new or has it happened all along? Usually, when skids go bonkers when dad moves out of their peripheral vision and start asking "where's MY dad?" it has gone on for quite some time and DH has done nothing to correct it. Usually finds it oddly flattering, but it soon becomes tiresome.

Wow, sounds a lot like Hover-Round (SS19), only it's both of us he follows around. And fuck me for wanting any alone time with DH.

I am glad I am not the only one that thinks it is weird! Thanks for the replies. I joked around with DH last night after he got out of the shower (of course SS17 just stayed upstairs in his room the entire time DH was in the shower). Anyway when we had a second of alone time before SS17 figured out DH was out of the shower and back downstairs hanging out with me, I whispered...Did SS17 follow you into the bathroom while you showered }:)
