O.T/ Stuffed animals
Is there anything you have from your childhood that you still hold on to? Mabey i'm a bit juvenile but I have this stuffed panda that my grandpa gave me years ago. I even took it to college with me and i still have it a wash it regularly. it just makes me feel like I am never alone and like I have a piece of love with me where ever I go. This may sound strange but sometimes I even carry him in my purse when I go shopping. Growing up I was made fun of a lot and this panda was always there with a big smile and soft hugs.
Is there anything special you hold on to?

When I was born, my
When I was born, my grandmother gave my mom a picture of an angel watching over a baby. It hanged in my childhood room for many years. I put it in DD's room when she was a baby. I'll put it up again if I have grandkids. There's nothing terribly special about the picture itself, but for some reason it's something I've always treasured.
I have a little glass
I have a little glass container used for holding makeup or creams that my grandmother gave me when I was a kid. I keep it remember her by and I have a belt holder that was my grandfather's I have. They are both gone now.
I used to have a picture of a horse that my mother gave me when I was eight years old. I wish I still had it because she died in 2001.
I don't like a lot of clutter, but I see nothing wrong with keeping a few things from your past to help you remember lost loved ones.
I still have my baby blanket.
I still have my baby blanket. I still slept with it/ used it as a pillow until we got married and I decided to preserve it for my kid(s). My grandmother (deceased) sewed it for me so it is pretty special. This reminds me, I need to take it out and wash it and put it in the baby's room.
I have a lot of things that DH expected me to give to skid from my childhood. For a while it hurt his feelings that I want to save them for MY kids. He gets it a little better now.
I still have my teddy bear
I still have my teddy bear "Alex" from when I was very young. I recently gave him to my DD5 who now treats him with love because I told her how special he was to me. I love watching her read to him just like I did when I was little.
