They keep going back and forth and it is driving me crazy! The hospital has been treating SD for Addison's Disease and she has responded really well to the treatment and now they are saying they are 90% sure that is what it is. They are just waiting on the blood test to come back.

They said this would account for her problems over the last 6 months to a year. All of the issues with school work, her anxiety, vomiting, and her cravings for salt. They said she became dehydrated a lot faster because of it also (took the wind right out of my BM is a bitch sail). It is an adrenal gland disorder and it is usually passed from mother to child and shows up in children around the ages 6-14. So I guess in the long run it is BM's fault LOL. SD will have to take 3 pills every day for the rest of her life and carry an emergency brecelet telling everyone of her condition. She also has to travel with liquid form of the medicine that can be injected if needed or if she is throwing up, she is too have it injected. Anytime she gets injured, has surgery, is going into a stressfull situation, she will have to up the medicine to help her body and mind deal with it. She will have to be cautious when having kids later in life during her pregnancies.

I feel for her, I really do and it sucks, but I find myself looking only at the fact that I know BM will use this agaist us somehow... FML
