Ok..so I debated posting this due to staying anonymous, but I really don’t think it will matter.

So did anyone hear about the Carnival Ship that caught on fire and had to be towed back to Mobil AL? I was on it!

UGH…it was crazy and miserable!! But, I feel it was not miserable enough to sue them over. I can’t believe how some are blowing it out of proportion.

Oh wow... I wondered if the media hype was inflated. So.. how bad was it really? Are people just being dramatic and looking for a quick payday? (by sueing them)

Thanks!! I ws so glad to get off that ship!! It was miserable and they really should have had us back a lot quicker. BUUT…the crew was amazing. We never ran out of food or water. Most people are blowing it out of proportion to get a quick buck.

It could have been a lot worse. The ship was on fire. That is what we woke up to. And it leaned really bad the whole way back. They said it was normal, but it was very unnerving!

Yea..I saw one woman who was suing because she said she had no water. That is an out and out lie. There was water everywhere. They were actually pushing the water on people.

I will. AND I will ALWAYS have a balcony room!!! It helped a lot. I will also research the ship before I step foot on it. If I had known how much problems this ship had before, I never would have gone.

Always get a balcony...If nothing else, you can jump if necessary. We always get one just for the fresh air.

Well it was a vacation you will never forget, right? Thats terrible that it happened. I was watching on the news when you guys were getting into port!! I felt so bad for everyone!! Were you on the bus that broke down afterward?? Nightmare!!

I am not a person that would sue either. It wasn't done intentionally and shit happens I guess. As long as everyone was ok and you had food and water there was no danger. I think I would have been nervous being out in the middle of the ocean!!

One time some lady stormed out of our office, she was mad because we couldn't give her a home loan... because she had ultra shitty credit and her income was all from FOSTER KIDS. She tripped on a parking block in the parking lot and sued the owner of the building, who happened to also be our boss. She didn't win a dime. But people will try to sue over anything. BM is one of those people.

A lady slipped on a grape one time in the store I work in. She tried really hard to sue. A lawyer or someone called and I answered and one of the questions was, "What color was the grape in question?" I about die laughing.

OMG..no I was not!! Thanks Goodness!!! I might have cried. lol

And we were nervous until the US Coast Guard showed up to protect us. We all felt much better after that!! They got there way before the tug boats.

Oh thats good!! My parents go on a cruise every single year and they love it. Something about being out in the middle of the ocean does not tempt me for some reason!! I know the ships are beautiful and there is so much to do but I don't think I will ever go on one.

So when is your next cruise?? You got a free one from them, right?

I have one nagging question tho......Why wasn't another ship brought and you all transferred to it?

Even if you couldn't offload, I saw a bunch of life boats that could have ferried ppl to another ship, any ship.

Glad you are back and safe. I don't think you shoud sue either. They are trying to compensate everyone.
