I'm on a roll today! Two blogs in a row, look at me go!

So last week I told DH that I thought it was creepy that after the little 4 kids have gone to bed and it's just SD11, DH and me awake that he sits on the couch with SD11 to watch TV while I'm in the bedroom. He played the whole "what's wrong with me wanting to spend time with my daughter routine" so I dropped it. He's never going to change, what's the point?

Anyway, last night they were at it again but I could hear that she requested a back rub from him. When I went to get a drink, he quickly said, "okay that's enough" and stopped rubbing her back. Hahahahahaha. Busted.

Eww man... I would have responded "What's wrong with you spending time with your WIFE?" The evening is time for you two as a couple if you cannot have that time during the day. The other kids are in bed, that is spouse time. SD11 can occupy herself and I am willing to bet she is not starved for attention from him. You should come first and your feelings are not only reasonable, but he should support you instead of playing defensive. If you want attention and time from/with your husband, then he should be happy to do it and be sorry for making you feel excluded. End of story.
