SS17 had prom today. She didn't ask to help/be involved with anything to do with it. So SO was getting a little worked up about having to deal with her for pictures etc. 

So he calls me and tells me he asked SS17 if BM was meeting him... SS17 replied with no she said she had to work. 

Guys.. she works a M-F 9-5 job and leaves early whenever she can. 

I am shocked she didn't use this photo op opportunity. 

SS17 texted SO when he got to the place (local college 5 minutes from us instead of texting him when he was heading there) to take pictures and apparently everyone in the town was there to take pics.. cops directing traffic and all so SO meet up with SS17 but, missed the quick photo op as the girls were mingling else where. 

No sign of BM. 
 

SO was surprised she didn't show up and honestly.. so am I. Another moment she misses.

I will add.. when SS17 had his 8th grade dance BM texted THAT day if he needing anything. Like no.. he's good. I was the one who took him to get his outfit etc. 

Not sure why we are both surprised on another extreme lack of involvement on her part. 
 

My guess.. she posted pics that SS17 sent her and was all like "my baby boyyyyy!!" This is something she does.. pretends she's there.
