Connections
I find it crazy that DH can't see the connection between him never requiring the Skids to do what he asks them to do, and the numerous missing assignments they have in school.

I find it crazy that DH can't see the connection between him never requiring the Skids to do what he asks them to do, and the numerous missing assignments they have in school.

He can see it. He just doesn
He can see it. He just doesn't want to admit it because then he will have to actually parent, which he doesn't want to do. He wants the kids to like him and they won't if he's an actual father to them.

Or the skids getting to decide what they do at all times and then rejecting his requiremet and/or suggestion for them to do something and they say no.
The bewilderment is real. My pointing out the connection is just crazy talk.
When the kids get older, it
When the kids get older, it backfires. The skids do not like their their Disney dad, turns out they were just using him all along and SD21 treats him like the piece of shit father that he is. I hate to say I told you so DH but I told you so. He is nothing but disrespected by the oldest child and the 3 who still live here are following in her footsteps to being asshole, disresjpectful and irresponsible adults.
