It's a family tradition! YSS officially PAS'd
YSS reached that official milestone Christmas morning. On top of the IL fuc*ery this past Sunday, with their "we absolve you of all your debts" (that I don't owe, nor does DH that I'm aware of) "gift", DH gets the official F you from YSS Christmas morning.
Sunday, after the IL extravaganza, MSS graced us with his presence at our house. DH told me that MSS was coming to pick up YSS on Christmas Day at 9. Silly us, thinking it was PM. Oh no, YSS strolls down Christmas AM around 8:45 am with his hair sticking up like he rolled around in a barn, announcing that MSS is on his way to pick him up. I said, "You're leaving when we're getting ready to open presents?" with a WTF expression, and he said he'd be back soon.
So I went into the bedroom and woke DH up to tell him YSS was getting ready to head out to mommy's to open presents. DH jumps out of bed, throws on his PJ pants and t-shirt, and goes out to the kitchen to see WTF is up. DH told YSS he thought he was going over at 9 PM. YSS told DH that he wanted to be with his "family" to open presents. I looked at him and said, "What the hell are we?" and DH said, "Son, you really should not have said that right now" and walked out in the garage and dropped a few F bombs.
I went into the bedroom so I wouldn't say anything I'd regret. We had lots of presents bought for YSS but after that Christmas morning DIS we said screw it, or SCROOGE it and gave him a $50 gift card. We'll be returning his kayak and wireless speaker.
DH thinks Medusa coordinated this but I blame MSS and YSS. MSS has trained YSS to hate me and hate DH and Mommy is always #1 so you better not treat dad good or you'll anger mommy dearest.
Thank the stars and heavens for Bailey's and YSS taking his selfish disrespectful narcissistic unwashed butt home today.

Speaking from experience, one great thing about PAS is you no longer have to deal with their crap. No more smelly kid stinking up the house and no more money dying out because no visits means no extras.
But it sucks for our DHs.
My Yss stayed longer this Christmas then he ever has but only because BM was busy. And the sucky part was having PASd OSS come pick up YSS and not even come to the door to wish DH a Merry Christmas. Luckily DH has had plenty of years to become used to it.
And wtf is up with your ILs??? I don’t know how you deal with them. I think I would have to fake sick every get together with them.

That was really rude of your OSS. He's a special kind of lazy and selfish, just like YSS.
The ILs are two narcissists and if you don't worship them and obey their commands they punish you.
I didn't invite them over at all for Christmas, because a few years ago FIL threw a hissy fit because BIL (the "Good", financially successful preppy son) invited them over for Christmas and MIL already committed to coming to our house for dinner. FIL called DH and said they'd just "stay home", but unfortunately they still came to eat with us. From that moment forward, I swore I'd never invite them over again. DH can't stand having them around either and gets very stressed.

I absolutely LOVE it as the ferals were horrific beasts to contend with and of course all the mind f*ckery from the BM's side of the family (Girhippo 'n' clan) as well as MOST of Chef's family to boot! And yes when there is more than one the older brats convince the younger ones to hate "daddy deadbeat" and SM then turn around and worship the golden vag as the deity she is
OSS is a total mama's boy and
OSS is a total mama's boy and always has been, so he's 100% on team BM and has nothing much to do with DH at all. MSS was more affectionate towards DH when he was younger, but now he's PAS'd out and only comes by to get his gifts or the obligatory Father's day 20 minute visit. YSS is totally influenced by MSS. I used to see MSS whispering to YSS when I was interacting with them and MSS was making fun of me. YSS would make some rude comments later. For example, on Spring break vacation, YSS kept randomly saying "cottage cheese" and I knew he was making fun of my cellulite legs, little f-cker. Yeah dude I have no clue what you're talking about. YSS used to be nicer to me but now he just sleeps and looks at his phone and has this creepy sociopathic stare.
They're a snooty selfish jock strap trio and I guarantee you at least one of them will go through a divorce and experience the pain they've inflicted on DH.
