All has been pretty quiet in Stepville here. I try to stay out of the BM/step stuff.

BUT a few months ago, H calls me to say he's on the way to the school because YSS got in trouble for posting "terroristic" threats on SM. YSS got immediately suspended and had to attend a tribunal to get reinstated at school. The boy had a team of lawyers because BM has to have the best! It was an overreaction on the school's part, but I can understand why they have to take even ridiculous stuff seriously. BM also sent DH the lawyer bill asking for half. LOL

YSS plays football and ever since training camp in August, he's been complaining of knee pain. He's been to multiple specialists, physical therapy, etc. The Dr is recommending surgery for YSS to remove calcium/buildup(?) from his knee, and PT to recover.

Now YSS wants to wrestle. It's not too big of a sport in this area, but it's huge where I used to live and am aware of the physical endurance and stamina required. Not easy!! So DH is totally opposed to YSS wrestling. DH wants YSS to rest and recover his knee for next football season. BM is all gung-ho on YSS wrestling. DH texted her that he was not on-board with the surgery nor the wrestling. BM replied back giving him crap for advising YSS of all the potential injuries he could incur from wrestling (cauliflower ear, anyone?) and said that ALL sports have a risk for injury, implying that DH was a dream killer (sniff sniff!)

Wrestling is NOT a good sport for someone with bad knees!

So come hell or high water, YSS will be wrestling this year! And probably will include thousands of $$ worth of medical bills!
