DH and I bought a new king sized mattress that was delivered today. The one that was on our bed is only 4 years old (and I purchased it before we were married and before joint finances ) but DH wanted more pillow top.

I was going to put it online for cheap and if I was no getting a response then I would give it away. DH asks if I am asking any money for the mattress. I tell him $125 and if it doesn’t go I will post a free ad on the weekend. 

He told me: “if we are going to give it away I would rather put it in storage and see if skid wants it” 

Not an effing chance will I give skid anything, not even if I was putting it in the garbage. He is an ungrateful asshole. See my post from before. Besides he told DH he is never speaking to him again. 

It sold in an hour and it’s done.

After your SS’s vaping debacle & complete lack of respect, your DH still thinks you’d want to give ANYTHING more to that kid?? That’d be a big NO from me as well. It’d be a good laugh though..

I couldn’t believe he even suggested it. I have nothing for skid, not even the time of day.

Why would he think you would want to give anything to that little prick? Much less store it for him.

I know that is his son, and he will forgive and continue to love the jerk, but that still doesn't mean he should bend over backwards giving him stuff after the way he has treated BOTH of you.

I gave ss a bed practically new that I’d had in my guest room several years ago.  He had it a few months until he got evicted for the umpteenth time.  Then it got left behind. 

Like you I do not even have the time of day for ss34 now.
