DH finally sees it

so this weekend was SS8 free zone. Friday afternoon after we dropped him off with BM hubby says (and I quote):” SS8 was really annoying this week. He just can’t shut up!”

i just looked at him and nodded. To be honest I was speechless. Like normally it’s like the little prince can do absolutely nothing wrong, is a little angle, soooo very cute, etc.

I am just really glad that he finally starts seeing it.

agree too much or it will backfire. Just reply "yes, he is quite talkative." Stay neutral that way DH won't get defensive and actually peel off a layer or two of those rose coloured glasses.

Yeah I just nodded. I wanted to scream like “finally you see it too! It is NOT ME!!!” It’s just a relief that he starts to see it.

Do not mistake a minor lapse in his ability to disney as a sign he sees ANYTHING wrong with his son. It is a giant claw bear trap honey. I would have just said? Really? you think so? hmmm. I would do zero piling on and see if dad thinks it's a big enough issue for him to deal with.

You know...I gave up hope a while ago that DH will ever be anything else than a Disney dad. Just the fact that he said something to me although he knows how I feel about SS nonstop talking...is huuuge. I was so shocked when he said it...it took me a while to process it. He never says anything negative about his little prince. SS is absolutely perfect in his eyes *eyeroll”.
