OT-Scary Mommy Confessions website...interesting, of course, BMs only
So, with all the hell we get here from BMs about how we complain about skids, blah, blah, blah...the fact is that there is a website for Scary Mommies...yep...you heard it. I bought the book as it stated it was funny...wow! oh wow! You will hear so many of the things we say here, but of course, we are HORRIBLE SMOMS for doing so and should divorce our DHs for doing so...here are some interesting things I read...
Some of the stuff there, INCLUDING jealousy of the kids just made me crack up! Geez, isn't it funny, a mom can say those things and feel those things but we cannot? Gotta love it. I tell you, the things you read there will be NOTHING in comparison to the things you read here. And although I think we can all admit to being worn out many times, I have to say, it is ridiculous that WE are held at a higher standard that those who are the moms of these kids.

I love this one.... can you even imagine if one of US said this about a step kid? I can tick off on my little fingers a few posters here who would JUMP at the chance to berate, belittle and scold someone for ever dreaming of saying such a thing.

Well, I tell you, I bought
Well, I tell you, I bought the book thinking it would make me laugh, as that's kind of what it said on Amazon...but the more I read the book, the more I thought "oh my, these are MOMS saying this? wow, imagine if we said that..." So, again, it was a STEP therapy book that was not intended to be a STEP therapy book...because really, I wouldn't think of most of those things, but sometimes felt guilty (thanks to our darn society) for even thinking anything negative...this made me realize, "don't worry, the BMs are sometimes MUCH worse!"
