My finance' has the nerve to say I'm not putting in any effort to have a relationship with my SD?!! I've been there since she was 4!! When her mom decided to to just stop being in her life bc? That's still the question to this day that she (BM) cant even answer! I've been there for te fist day of school, fist tooth falling out I could go on forever if I named every fist thing she's accomplished in life so far te good and the bad! But he can sit there and have the audacity to say that! I've done all
I can do let this child (my SD) know she is just as important as my biological kids. I want her to understand that I know she is hurting inside about something's that have happened but they were not
My fault. My SD has grown up with a family that really doesn't show any type of affection towards one another. It's weird like the sons don't kiss or hug their parents but they do their aunts and uncles and even my family!! Weird huh? But I have done my best with all my heart and soul can take right now. I'm like going into a depression bc it's hurting me soo bad that my fiancé does see that it's not me? How much do I have to give before he realizes its going to be too late?

I soooooo agree SA!!! It just baffles me how My DH & alot of the "guilty dads/parents" like to sling alot of accusations & blaming at us. They are just pissed that we havent resignef to thier guilty/disney parent module!!!
BUT... The truth is-- They themselves need a hard long look into the mirror themselves!!! They like to take the easy road/way out. My DH does this crap all the time. For an example: when the skids are here, DH likes/wants to take them/us out to eat at a nice resaraunt, but like sure many of us- we have to budget. Thats 6 of us, my DH & I, the 3 SSs & my Dd8. It gets expensive real quick!!! All the skids frankly have poor eating habits. They eat NO veggies or fruit. Frankly they turn thier noses up quickly at the thought of eating anything healthy!! Well I didnt raise my DD to be my best buddy & she has been raised with her nutrician in mind & eats her fruits & veggies with no hesitation. Ive given up on trying with the skids when it comes to this. Anyways, the newest thing is the skids dont want to order off the lkids meal anymore. Which is rediculous, cause they. Wont. Eat. It!!! So really, why would we pay $14 per skid to pick at it & then 10 mins down the road start begging for McDs?!? Nope- sorry- pick off the kids meal!! I put my foot down!!! Now I hear whining & griping while they order- oh well!!! If they would actually eat the meal- maybe we could allow it more often- but why waste $$ like that??? Its ridiculous & DH lets them still give ME the dirty looks frim them for it!!! He needs to grow some balls!!!
