Damn these hormones.... or damn you dh.....not sure which

I have Dh's car today, and he has my van. Went out to pick up lunch and noticed a pile of bs3's school art work on the floor. There was one in there that had "BS's Dancing Feet" written on the top.

They must have dipped his feet in paint and let him dance over the paper. It was the cutest thing I've ever seen. I literally started crying over it sitting in the super market parking lot. He's getting so big and I miss so much while I'm at work and he's at daycare.

And I might not have ever seen it cause friggin Dh picks him up and can't be bothered to bring this stuff in the house.

you need to let dh know bs's school projects are important to you and you want him to bring them in for you to see.

that would bother me too.

I texted him that i saw it and he just writes back.... Yeah that was cute, you didn't see it before?

No, how the hell would I have seen it from the floor of your car?!?

Does he bring a backpack to school? My BD3 brings a backpack and the teachers put all of her drawings and artwork in the backpack that way it doesn't get lost all over the car. Or maybe they can hold the stuff there and you can pick it up once a week or something. I would be upset too. I love everything she brings home and I have a big photo box that I put most of it in.

When I see hand or foot print art at my moms from my DD3 I get swept and annoyed because it seems like this stuff always goes home to grandma instead of when i pick her up from daycare. I hate missing out on her. I can't understand why my mom thinks its ok for her to hoard all these things.

He has a file folder that all his stuff goes into. I check it in the am when I drop him off, as Dh often doesn't check it in the pm.... But when he does check it, the stuff doesn't often make it into the house.

I don't know if I'm more sad that it was left in the car, or that I missed him getting to do it. I can just imagine how excited he was getting to step in paint and dance around. Makes me want to leave work right now and go to the craft store to get a roll of art paper and finger paints to do it at home.

If I say anything to him about it (ive asked him repeatedly to not leave school stuff in the car) he will just say I am the crazy hormonal pregnant lady and I'm over reacting..... That its just a picture.
