child care contract for XH?
I went for a job interview today and it went really well, I have to go back on Friday. Anyway, I am going to have to put DD8 in some sort of before and after school day care. I spoke with my friend and she is going to do it for me and I am going to pay her. My XH is responsible for 1/2 the fee. I am thinking about writing a contract for the day care, since I know XH will cause a problem reimbursing me. Has anyone ever done this and can you give me tips and/or an example on how to write this? I will be paying her $12.00 and hour which included her driving DD to and from school as well as giving her a snack and helping her with homework. Thank you.

thank you.
thank you.
So he has to pay extra so you
So he has to pay extra so you can work? Does that mean that since you work his CS will go down?
Daycare costs (at least here)
Daycare costs (at least here) are split between both parents- no matter which parent's time the daycare falls on. Did you mean to come off snotty or was that a misinterpretation?
Here the NCP pays CS and day
Here the NCP pays CS and day care (and summer camp) if the CP works or is in school.
CS can increase or decrease depending on both parents's income.
His CS can't really go all
His CS can't really go all that much down considering the crap amount he pays now. My kids pretty much get $8.00 a day when it comes down to how much he gives. Don't even get me started on that.
He has to pay half of
He has to pay half of whatever the child care cost is. He doesn't pay all that much to begin with, my kids basically get $8 a day from their father, big spender he is.
Twelve dollars an hour is
Twelve dollars an hour is REALLY high. Like, unheard of high. I imagine, unless he's Daddy Warbucks, that he's going to have a problem paying your friend a king's ransom.
$hit, I'm currently paying $100 a month for before school care (2 1/2 hours) and transportation to school. I know that's cheap, but damn, girl... $12 an hour?!?
Oh, yeah, good point above. Now that you're working, will CS be revisited?
It would be $6.00 for each of
It would be $6.00 for each of us. I don't think that is so bad and then I wont have to put her in the breakfast program or after school program so it's a win win situation.
She'll be there less than an
She'll be there less than an hour in the morning 5 days a week and then 4 days after school for an 1 1/2, unless my parents can take her on certain days.
CS is supposed to be based on a certain % but the first lawyer I had when we first divorced screwed me so bad, I was actually getting less than. My attorney now couldn't get him to pay what the law allows because he claims he has a bad job but I know he gambles and he brings in money on side job where he has ads all over the internet. If I really want him to pay the CS legally due to me I would have to hire a forensics attorney to prove my case but that's way too expensive and I cant afford that.
As for the child care, in out stip it says that he has to pay 1/2 of what it is.
