mil, doughnuts & chocolate glaze
let's not sugar coat it...
not all but many, if not most, MIL's have a hidden agenda when it comes to the SM. first and foremost, all us sm's now know that the sun rises and sets on the asses of the skids. and anything the sm does or says that does not set the skid on a pedastool is reason enough to hate her. and by not setting said skid on pedastool, the golden uterus is back on the front page and anything she did or said on her part to cause the divorce is all forgiven and the "broken" family is now 100% the new SM's fault.
now that everything that has ever gone wrong or ever will go wrong for mil's son or her precious grandspawns is sm's fault. and sm should pay, she should pay thru the nose and do everything mil says and kiss bm's ass w/o question and take fault for all of the spoiled brat skids failures......
that's all, i'm getting myself upset!

Damn it starfish, after your
Damn it starfish, after your title, I wanted some chocolate.
I really thought I was going
I really thought I was going to get on with my MIL number 2 (number 1 was exH's ma) as she HATED BM with a vengeance, and is not too keen on my SDs, her grand-daughters, either! I did get on with her for a few years, then her true nature broke through and she decided she hated me too! Ah well, not going to lose any sleep over that.
if you were an outsider
if you were an outsider looking in, you would think my mil & i have an awesome relationship, but she ever so often sticks that big 'ole dagger in my back and brings me back to reality...
if everyone would take some responsibility for their own actions that create the awkward, unhealthy blended fam situations, i'd be willing to bet a shit load of the bitterness, us sm's harbor would subside significantly. how the fuck these people think everything (or at least act like, since it so much easier then owning it or assigning it to the golden whore, their own son or god forbid the "precious" ones) is the sm's fault blows my mind.
